Welcome to Two Hearted Flies

This website is close to being fully operational.  It should never be mistaken that designing and launching a website is easy work.  Without going any further into detail I should end it there.  This website comes as an obvious solution to funding my sometimes foolish pursuit of a past time that has now become my passion.  Certainly fly tying in and of itself can provide a fair amount of enjoyment and challenge but is part of a much greater sporting art, being a fly fisherman.  Catching a fish - of any species - on a nice fly is an exilerating moment but I would go a step further and say that catching many fish on finely tied flies is even better yet.  The flies offered at this site are not good old traditions donninng only appearance and sentiment.  The flies offered at this site are tried and true.  There is not a single fly offered here that I myself do not use.   This website is essentially my virtual flybox.  It is a carbon copy of what I carry myself.  Some flies found here are just plain traditional.  Has anyone found a fly that beats a good old fashion Wooly Bugger in a fish catching race?  So as you may imagine you will find the Wooly Bugger here, though maybe with a slight change of form and function.  You will also find some new stuff that is just a result of trial, error, and repeated success.  In addition I offer accessories and materials that I find very usefull in my fly tying and fishing pursuits.  So take a look around and enjoy.  Feel free to shoot me a mail with questions and comments.  Until then, enjoy the water.  Rob
